SHOWS
Two Scoops Combo serves up a unique blend of rollicking boogie-woogie humor and heart-felt blues. Eric "Two Scoops" Moore stirs fun into his audience with the touch of a master chef. His legendary ability to transport listeners to Chicago, Kansas City or New Orleans in a flash has been documented in countless fan testimonials. In a typical show, Two Scoops breathes new life into familiar favorites and delivers generous portions of crowd-pleasing hits from his own records.

BACKGROUND
Eric “Two Scoops” Moore has been playing the piano since the age of 5, growing up in Boston. As a teenager, he jammed with many “Blues Old-Timers.” He spent 7 years touring and recording with “Earring” George Mayweather, a harp-playing contemporary of Little Walter’s. For 6 years, Eric played with ex-Muddy Waters guitarist, Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson, at clubs and festivals in 36 states, 12 countries on 3 continents. In January 1995, his travels took him on a Caribbean Blues Cruise where Amy was a passenger, then a month later to the Backstage in Ballard. It happened to be Valentine’s Day and Eric proposed to Amy on the spot! They got married one year later at the House of Blues in Cambridge MA.

Since 1996, Eric has been based in West Seattle, leading TWO SCOOPS COMBO! He has released 8 critically acclaimed CDs. The Washington Blues Society has honored him with 6 awards for piano playing and 2 for songwriting, including 2013. He writes some of the funniest and most mouth-watering lyrics you've ever boogie-woogied to! Eric’s songs are included on 2 of CAR TALK’s music CDs and have been played on their NPR radio show for 3 million listeners. Eric’s hit song “Big Buffet” has gotten steady radio play for over 18 years!

Eric is also an award-winning artist. He can’t stand waste, so he gets his art supplies from the recycle bin! His fanciful and expressive figures represent people from all walks of life, including musicians, chefs, mythical characters and some crazy critters.

Eric is a survivor of the “flesh-eating disease”, so he is especially happy to be alive. Amy was diagnosed with MS shortly before they got married and he is her 24/7 caregiver. His upbeat music and art keep her in good spirits every day! We know it will do the same for you!
